Music file naming for Portably

I have known for some time that there were certain characters not permitted in Windows.

And I have ignored a few. Now I will be renaming them to be 100% portable. Ugh.

With the different systems, cell phones, web storage it just wont work for long time usage or storage.

The only characters to be 100% sure of their portably is.

Your naming works on your cpu it still will. Perhaps not if moved.

Some balk at spaces and ( ). No one recommends spaces. Period only recommended for .file extensions.
Numbers 1 thru 9 must have leading zero to properly sort.
Not allowed character or space will result in being changed to %20.

Each operation system, file structure, web storage, usb drives, music players may have different character sets not allowed.

While the naming makes it harder to read, the most important part is properly tag metadata your music files and not rely on the file naming.

As most players pick up the tags but can balk with the filename.
