Hi, I am new in this forum and also new MP3TAG user. I want to transfer some vinyl in digital format (.dsf ) , and i use the Discogs database to import all tags ,in MP3TAG all looks OK, but does not appear at all in Explorer or players. For comparison reasons i put some other 2 files which appear correctly . Can anyone explain me what i does wrong? Thank you in advance !
Do you have found any information about whether the Windows Explorer supports tags in dsf files at all?
I found a thread on a different site about a similar problem:

Thank you very much, that helped me to begin to understand what is the problem. Then i asked an IT expert who told me that Windows have some "shell extensions" for audio common files and they have some DLL that automatically access the audio files and collect those fields (artist, album etc) but not for all files, dsf were not so popular when those feature were created. So they didn't create the "shell extensions" for those dsf and that is a big effort and seems that will remains like that, nothing to do , maybe in Windows 11, for now i am OK with Windows 10..I hope that i understood and repeated correctly the IT words, it's not my strong field. I installed some explorers from the link you sent to me, but the same problem. Software players (foobar) uses all those field correctly, and the same some hardware dedicated players (like mine Sony HAP-Z1ES), so i can live with that...
