New version isnt new enough?

I just updated, because i got a pop up telling me to
First the tool bar is weird and only above the side panel
and then.....

Thank you for reporting the two issues. I've already submitted a fix to Apple for review for the misleading error message when checking for the minimum required version of Mp3tag for a Tag Source.

The toolbar issue is just strange: can you right click on the toolbar and just apply the default set of toolbar items?

I've just released Mp3tag for Mac v1.9.1 which fixes the misleading error message.

It might take a while for the Mac App Store to propagate the new version through all stores in all countries, but it should definitely arrive shortly.

RE Toolbar: I had the same issue with the moved toolbar as described above. But the suggestion from Florian fixed it.

  1. Right click on the toolbar. Select "Customize Toolbar..."
  2. A window opens and in the bottom area of this window, you can drag an entire set of icons into your toolbar. Once you do this, the toolbar moves to the default position again.

I had customized my toolbar and I seems like this caused some trouble with the new version.

This fixed the issue, many thanks. i was getting desperate and trying to get ai to fix it. The update slid in just in time.
