Hi I have some old tracks that do not reset track count on disc change which i've been changing, but I noticed the auto-numbering wizard doesn't have an option for DISCNUMBER. I've seen people talk about it like it should be a field, so is there something I need to enable for it to show up here?

Next disc on change of sets when to start the track number with 1 again.
To get an increased disc number you have to tick the disc number section further up.
If you know that there are several independent discs then also set Reset disc counter on change of
Sorry my explanation was sort of vague. My songs are already labelled with a disc number, but I want to redo the track numbers.
For example if I have 90 songs across 3 discs. Right now I have it like disc 1 track 1-30 disc 2 track 31-60 disc 3 track 61-90. What I want to do is have it be disc 1 track 1-30 disc 2 track 1-30 disc 3 track 1-30.
The issue is that since there is no option under "Next disc on change of" for DISC NUMBER, I have to manually select each disc.
Set whatever determines a new disc under either "Next disc on change of directory" or a special criterion under "Next disc on change of" - e.g. DISCNUMBER.
Also tick "Reset track Counter on next disc".
If you leave "Discnumber" (further up) unselected, then the discnumber will stay as it is.
Screenshots unusally illustrate a problem a lot better than descriptions.
Ok but the issue is that there is no DISC NUMBER option for "Next disc on change of"
Is there some sort of setting I have to change to make it show up there? The only options I have are the 3 in my screenshot.
