partial case conversion

got filenames in a %1 - %2 %3.mp3 format

the Mixed Case conversion works like a charm, only that I need %1 to stay UPPER case. is there a way to separate the changes? please help

Tag - Filename Converter:
$upper($regexp(%_filename%,(.) - .,$1)) - $caps($regexp(%_filename%,.* - (.*),$1))

thanks for the reply! unfortunately my %3 sometimes also includes "-" and messes it all up :frowning:

another solution for me would be a script to uppercase the first two letters of the filename

Convert | Filename - Filename | ALT+3

Select format string

Old filename pattern:
%1 - %2 %3

New filename pattern:
$upper(%1) - $caps(%2 %3)

JOHNNY - Greatest More.mp3

Convert | Filename - Filename | ALT+3

Select format string

Old filename pattern:
%1 - %2 %3

New filename pattern:
$upper($left(%1,2))$cutLeft(%1,2) - $caps(%2 %3)
