Please move Mp3tag to your Applications folder

Apologies if this question is similar to anything else. I recently purchased Mp3tag to my MacOS (Catalina). Here are the steps I used to get the above image.

  1. Download Mp3tag from Download – Mp3tag: the universal Tag Editor for Mac
  2. Unzip file
  3. Click on Mp3Tag Icon
  4. See the above image.

Alternatively, I've tried downloading the file directly to the applications folder and unzipping there with no luck. Any help would be useful, I'd hate to reach out for a refund but there seems like no alternative.

Can you try this command via Terminal.app and see if it changes anything:

xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Mp3tag.app
