PLEASE revert the recent removal of regular expressions from Filters

This is a serious loss of functionailty. Many filter tasks that I rely upon are apparently impossible to achieve, so I have had to revert to V2.44.

I suggest it would be a very bad idea to release V2.44d as the production version.

Yes, regular expressions really is a convenient tool when it comes to finding things :slight_smile:

v2.44e now has a MATCHES keyword which allows for using regular expressions in the new filter.
