Problem with album artwork

I cannot change the artwork for my MP3's its saving the tag and showing the correct artwork in MP3TAG but when I open in VLC or any other program even on phone it shows the old one.

I tried removing the artwork and same thing MP3TAG says and shows there is no artwork yet when you open the file the same artwork is displayed that it originally had.

Especially see the folder path where to delete the artwork cache.

Reading the posts after this, I do relizes that VLC has its own little data base but the thing is I moved this over to my brand new phone which never has played it and yet even after changing it and saving it was still the original on the phone not the new album art. I will read both posts

Weird after clearing the VLC cache now it shows up correct on the phone, thanks for the help
