Publisher & Copyright fields

Ok- getting there- thank you Poster & Doug for your suggestions. I did both and was able to go a step forward.

I am now able to add the columns.

But I do not know how to batch edit them now on the left side. I can delete them one by one... but that will take me hours.

I am trying to delete the www.MusicDuty.com entry in this example (later the PMedia once I get the hang of what I am doing).

FYI, I did a search at the bottom Filter for 'www.MusicDuty.com' and the results came back blank.

Thanks

Could you post a screenshot of which filter expression you use?

To customize the tag panel (i.e. add fields for publisher and copyright) see the already linked documentation:

You can only delete the tag content of more than 1 file either in the tagpanel or in the extended tag view. In the tagpanel you would have to customize and add those unwanted fields, if they are not there. Because all fields are shown in the extended tag view there is no need to add fields. Just simply mark all files in the file list (CTRL-a), activate the extended tag view (ALT-t), mark 1 or more tags (pressing CTRL) in the metadata window and delete the unwanted fields with clicking on the red cross and after that o.k.

You can also do the task by an action of the type "Remove Fields" or with an action of the type "Remove fields except".

Before any action- showing the entries

Typing in the bottom filter- the box on the right shows up

Can't get any items to load.

However I am able to select the range of items in thèsort list and then change the value on the lef tto 'blank' and this does the trick

Ok- let me try a few of these shortly. Thank you.

PMEDIA%publisher% is not a valid (or more exactly: "useful") filter syntax.

You can enter just
PMEDIA
and all your tags will be searched for this word.

Or you define a specific tag to be searched for a specific word like:
%PUBLISHER% HAS PMEDIA
or
%UPLOADER% HAS PMEDIA

If "PMEDIA" is the only content in a tag, you can also search for
%PROVIDER% IS PMEDIA
