The red x indicates that there is trouble reading the tags. So I would take measures to get proper tag data first and then investigate the other problem. Perhaps it is also gone once the red x is gone.

You can remove the whole tag with Ctrl-R

Dang the X came back and Plex is still complaining. Oh well not a big deal and I appreciate the help!

You would have to get the internal structure right before you can add (or modify) any tag data. E.g. Foobar can check the file integrity.
