Hey all. So I'm working on a regex to isolate a mix artist's name from the mix name (%subtitle%) for EDM tracks and populate that name into %mixartist%. It's designed to handle multiple permutations of "original mix", "extended mix", "extended club mix", and the like, and also has functionality to parse mix names like "Millennial's On Full Force Extended Remix". Everything is working exactly as expected when I plug this regex into Regex101, however in mp3tag it won't correctly parse mix names like "Millennial's On Full Force Extended Remix" - instead of just giving me "Millennial", it gives me "Millennial's On Full Force". This occurs whether I try to use a tag - tag conversion or a format value action. Anyone able to give me a hand with this?
The format string I'm using is as follows:
$regexp(%subtitle%,^(.*?)(?:\''s.*)?(?:\s*(?:Original|Extended|Club|Vocal|Dub|DJ|Tech|Summer of Love|12\"))*\s+(?:Remix|Rework|Remake|Reboot|Mix|Bootleg|Version|Edit)$,$1,1)
The section of the regex that isn't working in mp3tag is this non-capture group:
(?:\''s.*)
That's got two single-quotes after the backslash as per mp3tag's documentation that single-quotes need to be escaped with another single-quote.
Here's that regex shown working as intended on regex101: https://regex101.com/r/kXzEVX/5
EDITED TO ADD: This is occurring in mp3tag v3.28 on both Windows and Linux (via WINE).
