Remove beginning text from title tag

#1

I've been using mp3tag for a while now and I like it a lot. It's been a real time saver for batch tagging my vast music library. I'm able to copy the file names of each track to the title tag but the file name also contains the track number as follows:

01 - track title

I would like to be able to batch edit the title tags to delete the track info and just leave just the track title. I've had to resort to editing each title manually and it's extremely tedious.

Several solutions:
You can import data from the filename (again) with the mask:
%track% - %title%
This would fill the fields for track with e.g. "01" and title with "track title".

You can split the data in title and move the part in front of the hyphen to the field TRACK with an action of the type "Guess value"
Source: %title%
Target: %track% - %title%

You can delete the number with an action of the type "Replace with regular expression" for TITLE
Search string: ^\d+ -
Replace string:
(leave empty)

See what suits you best.
