Remove "Converted_" from the filename of my converted MP4 songs

My enormous karaoke collection was paired MP3+ and CDG files. Couldn't get them to work. All the online sites said "the new thing is MP4!" I used Kanto Karaoke to convert them all to MP4. Unfortunately the output files all are named "Converted_some karaoke song". I looked at your FAQ, but everybody here is apparently much more knowledgable than I am. I don't know where to begin. Where is a step by step for noob morons please? To be clear, I want to drop the "Converted_" bit.

Mp3tag is not a file renaming tool.

But if you really want to change the _FILENAME from
Converted_some karaoke song
to
some karaoke song
you can try

Convert -> Tag->Tag
image

$replace(%_FILENAME%,Converted_,)

Try Convert>filename-Filename
Old name: Converted_%1
New name: %1

All? At least this site does not.
Or true, mp4 may be newer but I doubt that it is better esp. if you convert old files, encoded with a lossy codec to a new also probably lossy codec. re-encoding lossy to lossy reduces the quality in most cases.
IMHO, you could have left all the old files in the mp3 format - as long as your player supports that format.
If there is a need to get a different player, I would look for one that also interprets embedded data for karaoke and does not rely on external files.

Just to be clear:
MP3 is a specific audio format for audio content. Most devices can play .mp3 music.
The technical term for MP3 is "MPEG-1 Audio Layer III" or "MPEG-2 Audio Layer III"
.mp3 files can also contain cover pictures and metadata about the content, including Lyrics, but no videos.

MP4 is a container format. It can contain audio, video or data also known as "multimedia". If you see the extension .mp4 you can not directly derive what kind of content you will find inside this file.
Therefore you can't be sure if - for example - your car player will play your .mp4 files.
