Remove Leading Track Numbers (Recent Change?)

Has there been a change in this expression? ^\s*[0-10]+\s*
I have been using it and it used to work; now it doesn't. When I use it now it removes the first digit of a double digit number.
Old: removed all numbers completely without issue
New: if there are 10 tracks it now leaves 2-9 which causes me to repeat the step to get rid of the 2-9.
In other words what used to take me one process, now requires two.
If there is a period after the number it leaves that as well which makes me have to repeat this process a third time.

[0-10] will match 0 or 1, not any other digit. (the range 0 to 1 and 0)
