Removing track numbers in the file name

#1

I saw the expressions thread but I must be a dummy cuz I just can't figure out the expressions to use to get rid of what I'm trying to get rid of.

I have a bunch of albums where the tracks are named

  1. Artist - Track

I'm trying to batch delete all the numbers at the beginning of each track in the filename. A bunch of albums go up to "17. " while another set of albums are name 101. up to 220.

Can someone let me know? Right now I have a simple delete set up where I have "Original: 01. " and replace with nothing....you can imagine how annoying that gets editing that to 02. , 03,....

Sir,

I also want to rename files

From:
274-01 Ban Ke Panchi.mp3

To:
01 Ban Ke Panchi.mp3

274 (value) is the %discnumber% [this value changes in numbers]

Please give the code for the same.

Please try to become more familiar with Mp3tag and at first read the FAQ area, for example ....
Actions
... and also ...
/t/1073/1

Study the Mp3tag help manual, sections Scripting and Actions.
