Hi, guys. Please, help me. Trying to rename name of field "DATE" to "YEAR" name, without changing values, but can't understand, whats wrong with me. Duplicating fields, formatting to wrong values... Just tired of trying.
mp3tag 3.30, .flac file format.
I've seen that already, that's default settings - so, i ain't see result (watching tags by using Winamp) that's i need. Still seeing field named DATE with value 2025, and renaming that manually to YEAR. Maybe i just can't understand something?!
If you remove the mapping, then all data in MP3tag's YEAR will be saved in a vorbis comment YEAR - and perhaps your player likes that more (even though it is not quite up to standard).

I'm just a little bit wrong understanding difference between SOURCE and TARGET @ options > mapping, cause i'm always thinking that YEAR should be named by default by proper tagging standarts, and not being renamed by user mapping. Now it's clear.
