Replace isn't working with "."

I have been using quick actions, "replace", to get rid of periods or dots between each word of a filename. Today, suddenly, this isn't working.

I have updated to the latest version, but still it won't work.

It's working over here.
Could it be that the search term has a trailing space?

On my work PC it was working, but not on my home PC.

TBH this would indicate for me that it is something local that it is virtually impossible to solve from the distance.
You would have to find out where the difference is: either in the replace function or in the treated data so that there are no hits

You don't show an image of the actual trouble file(s). Perhaps the character you are trying to replace isn't a standard dot (period) but rather a different Unicode character?
