Replaceing \\ in a field

Hi,

Some of my genre fields have \\ in them ie blues\\rock

I want to change the \\ with an action but I assume the software thinks the first \ has special meaning. I can't make it work anyway.

Is there a way of writting \\ so that mp3tag knows it is a double backward slash that needs replacing.

I have hunted the forums but can't spot anything that I can make work yet.

Hi. I am trying to do a Find and Replace in the Composer section. I know how to do basic things like replace words and such. The problem I am having is I am trying to do the following; Name 1\\Name 2 This is a double line but won't show up. and replace with Name 1 / Name 2 For some reason the \\ is not being found or applied and replaced with the /. Oh I had been on that one but didn't make much sense of it. I think I have spotted the issue is that \\ isn't in the field itself. It is a field that is in the data twice. I will just have to carry on editing it manually. No problem

PS I didn't think to write double backslash until I saw the formatting here didn't work either. I can now look for other threads too.
