Replacing a Title with Title + Artist

Hi folks

Is there a way of adding the value in the Artist tag to the end of the Title field.

For explanation - I have numerous albums which are compilations and have lots and lots of different Artists in them, I want to change the Artist field to be "Various Artists" for every song but would like to preserve the original artists name by adding it to the end of the title.

e.g. Title = My Song Artist = ABC Album = The Compilation
becomes Title = My Song - ABC Artist = Various Artists Album = The Compilation

Any help appreciated

Why not use the BAND field, or create a field called ALBUM ARTIST? You can store "Various Artist" in either of those fields, and keep the ARTIST field as the actual track artist.

I use ALBUM ARTIST, as it is used in foobar2000.
