Running Autonumber Wizard Recursively

#1

Hi. Is there any way to run the AutoNumber Wizard from a directory and have it renumber the files in every sub-directory. With each individual directory starting back at track 1.

I'm assuming that if I set "Leading zero" and "Save total count", then these will be ignored for an ID3v1 tag.

If a file has both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags, do both get set correctly.

Cheers,
Eddie

Eddie,

yes this is possible. Simply use the [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[K] keyboard shortcut and make sure, that your files are correctly sorted by subdirectory in the file view.

Yes.

Yes, if you've enabled writing of ID3v1 and ID3v2 at Options, Tags, Mpeg.

Cool. :sunglasses:

How. If I sort, by clicking the title, by Path, does that also sort by Filename within Path. If not, how can I ensure this takes place.

I also thought I posted a 2nd question about multiple ID3 tags on the same file, but it looks like I didn't hit the right button. Guess I'll post it again.

Again thanks for the answers, and the program.

Cheers,
Eddie
