Runtime error on first start

Hi

Installation goes OK but on launching Mp3Tag it crashes.

Re-installed several times but same result.

Run Time Error 633

Does restarting your computer resolve the issue?

Not at all. Have removed, closed down PC and re-installed trying both 64 and 32bit with no joy,

OK, thanks for trying. The errors seem to happen because Mp3tag fails to create handles, which are a limited system resource.

Are you using some kind of shell replacement, theming software, or anything else that makes your installation of Windows 11 somewhat special?

We were in parallel conversation via email and found out that WindowBlinds — which serves as a kind of shell replacement / theming option for Windows — was recently updated and does not play nicely with Mp3tag.

Users of WindowBlinds can still use Mp3tag by holding the Ctrl key down when opening the app. This prevents WindowBlinds from theming the app.
