Save/backup format strings

I'm moving to a new PC, and I've spent a good deal of time crafting my format strings, so I don't want to lose them. Are they included in the configuration backup?

If not, is there any way to back them up short of screen-cap?

Yes, they're backed up, along with any customization that you've done of Mp3tag such as customization of the Tag Panel and the file view (columns). Unfortunately, restoring/transferring those settings isn't nearly as straight-forward as it should be. See the following FAQ:
