Selecting multiple files to "open with" in VLC does not work

To replicate error: select multiple files, right click, "Open With" click VLC. Result: only 1 file is sent to VLC.
Expected result: All files selected would be sent to VLC and then I could play all of them.
Current work around: select multiple files, right click, select "Show in Finder" - Finder opens and the files are highlighted. Right click, open with, VLC, all the files load in VLC as expected.

How does this apply to mp3tag? As far as I know this is an OS function.

This behavior only occurs in mp3tag, as far as I am aware. For example, highlighting multiple files in Finder and then "Open with" VLC sends all of the files to VLC. In mp3tag, it only sends one file to VLC rather than all of them.

This is now fixed with Mp3tag for Mac v1.8.27.
