i created a custom column like here described: What is the pixel size of the cover image? - #4 by astrohip
tldr:
value: %_cover_width% x %_cover_height%
Most of the time it works but sometimes it doesn't.
I created the metadata with MusicBrainz Picard.
In Picard options -> Cover Art -> Cover Art Archive -> Only use images of the following size: Full size
If there is a custom size chosen like 500px the bug doesn't happen.
Example: Release “Blue Tick” by Crypto & Biometrix - MusicBrainz
If i use a random song in .m4a format and set it in Picard as the example release and save it Mp3tag is unable to display the cover and in my custom column is only the "x" which i use as a divider symbol between %_cover_width% and %_cover_height%.
