Sometimes MP3Tag refuses to start, and must be re-installed

I have been using MP3Tag for about two months, and find it a very useful piece of software. Three times since I have been using it the software has refused to start, but has instead displayed a large dialogue in German, which I can't read, which I think suggests contacting the developer. I usually overcome the problem by completely de-installing MP3Tag and reinstalling it. It just happenened again, and I re-installed it, so now I don't have the dialogue to refer to to better discribe it. As it has happened to me three times I am assuming it happens to others, and someone may know what the problem is. I am using Windows 2000 Pro.
