We said you must use at least $loop($num(%_counter%,3)) for 100 tracks or more!

You did - and thanks - but

a) that fix didn't work - see sorting export result %_counter% bust?

b) the fault occurs way before 100 tracks - see sorting export result %_counter% bust?

I've misunderstood, apologies - please do explain.

Well, I was going by the fact that since no fix is listed in History of Changes, v2.39b is equally bugged. But trying again shows your $num(%_counter%,3) does now work - thanks!

But still I get INcorrect output from $num(%_counter%,2). An extreme example is $loop(%_counter%):

I'd expect the output to be (string) sorted by track#:

1;1;
2;10;
3;100;
4;101;

Bur get it jumbled:

1;1;
2;2;
3;11;
4;101;

loop() is apparently missorting. Agreed?
