Stamping a track To Show Cover When Playing Windows media Player

I have downloaded a album image cover and selected the cover and saved through MP3 Tag which is fine but when I play the track in both MP3 tag and Windows Media Player it still shows the old cover. How do I get it to show the new saved cover to show when playing the track. TIA

I would always think that if MP3tag shows the modified data correctly, then MP3tag has done its duty. If the player then acts up, it would be a question for the support of the player why the player does not behave. Anyway: it could be that there are still folder.jpg files lurking around in the file folder. Or that the windows media player cache still holds the old picture. Just to be sure: Do you see the new cover in Mp3tag after you load this changed song again into Mp3tag or not?

I have removed the original cover and replaced it with the new cover and saved. The new cover shows in the bottom left of MP3 tag. When I click to pay the track through MP3 tag a new windows screen pops (windows Media player) up but it shows the old cover and not the new cover I have saved in MP3 tag and at the bottom left of the MP3 program.

Have you cleared the WMP cache, the file folder.jpg and perhaps even the file thumbs.db?
