Subdirectories not playing after creating a playlist

When i try to create a playlist using mp3tag, the songs in subdirectories are added, but when i try to play the playlist the music in the subdirectories do not work. when loading the playlist back into mp3tag, it gives the error that the song in the subdirectory cannot be accessed. i was wondering if anyone had a fix for this.

Could you show us such a playlist and the corresponding filenames?

I don't know - none of the filenames in the list of errors appears in the MP3tag filelist. So it seems to be accurate that these files could not be found.

I would like to see the real contents of the playlist. A playlist is a plain text which can be opened with a plain text editor like notepad.
Please show that text.

playlist.txt (177.2 KB)

This is what the text looks like:

2Pac - 16 On Death Row.mp3
2Pac - Ambitionz Az A Ridah.mp3
2Pac - Black Starry Night (Interlude).mp3
2Pac - Can U Get Away.mp3
2Pac - Can't C Me.mp3
2Pac - Check Out Time.mp3
2Pac - Dear Mama.mp3

I do not see a subdirectory path.
See here a playlist created for a file in a subdirectory:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:283,Syncromatic Dubsters - Blossom (Feat. Peter+Koch)
Ambient Diary.Three - 2000\Sampler Ambient _ Ambient Diary.Three _ 04 _ Syncromatic Dubsters _ Blossom (Feat. Peter+Koch).mp3

How do you create one of your playlists?

the make playlist from all files button, i do also have entries relative from work directory on

Please note the information that the playlists are generated with relative paths to the current working directory. This would also require to keep the playlist there, where it was created - otherwise the file cannot be found.
So your playlist has to be in the same folder as e.g. the file
2Pac - 16 On Death Row.mp3

it is, would relative paths prevent playing music in subdirectories?

no - they would enable the player to find the files.
So, e.g.
hard+chill\3MG, Living Legends - 2010.mp3
has to be in a subfolder to
2Pac - 16 On Death Row.mp3
