Suggested Enhancements

I am new to Mp3tag so it may be that the capabilites that I am about to suggest already exist and I do not how to access them. I suggest that Mp3tag:

  1. Allow specifying a subdirectory so that my entire music library does not have to be rescanned when I add a new album, and
  2. Have a checkbox on the Extended Tags panel that allows making the file read-only to prevent me from accidentally modifying a file after I have set it up properly.

1.) If I understand you correctly, Options > General > Favorite directory along with start from this directory is what you're looking for.
