Thanks for the great software and the frequent updates.
I'm not sure if this has been raised before (I couldn't find it) or if it is a good idea or easily achieved, but a small request for drop-down item entry...
Drop-down lists in the tag panel are a huge improvement. One detail of the operation often catches me out. As a lazy typist trying to quickly access a list value, I sometimes don't press Shift when I start typing in a field. The drop-down search doesn't care (good), but when the list value is registered in the field, the capitalisation of what I actually typed and not the list value is used.
For example,
- I go to my Composer field in the Tag Panel
- I type "clau"
- From my list, it finds Claude Debussy
- Happy with the result, I tab to the next field
- But it has registered "claude Debussy" when I want "Claude Debussy" as per the list
I would have thought that the majority use of this feature is where users would expect initial capitalisation to match what is in the list, in preference to what you type, but others can chip in...
