Tag -> Filename without unicode chars - stops mp3gain working!

Hi,

I've been using mp3tag to get my music collection in order, though I now have a problem with mp3gain.

mp3tag will save unicode chars in tag into the filename when you use the tag -> filename function.

Sadly, mp3gain won't read unicode filenames (except for the beta version which introduces some filename problems of its own).

Thus, I wonder if anyone know how I could get mp3tag to ignore unicode chars when renaming the file?

Thanks for that - I did search, but that didn't come up...

In my case I could tell that the filename had unicode chars because they were obvious non-latin chars (e.g. thai / chinese)
