Tag Panel Default Values

I have entered values into the Tools/Tag Panel/Default Values dialog. However, I can't find a way to have those values appear in the Tag panel. I have reopened the Default Values dialog and the information I entered is still there.

If this question has already been answered or is in the documentation, please point me to it.

After selecting a value in the Default Values dialog, close and re-open Mp3tag.
