Tag Panel - Retain Artist, Title and Genre when Changing Directories

Hello. I'm a newbie coming from Tag&Rename. When using Tag&Rename the "tag panel" retains the artist, title and genre each time I change to another folder. This way, when I have multiple folders for an artist I can change folder to folder not have to retype the artist, title and genre each time. Is this possible with MP3Tag?

Not like that.
But you can treat several folders at once, e.g. you either open the top folder and load all subordinate ones or you drag&drop the other folders into MP3tag while pressing Ctrl..
The you select all the files that already have and also that should get the same data and select the data from the drop down list for the corresponding fields.

In Mp3tag you load multiple folders in the File List.
Then you fill the tags in the Tag Panel and apply/save this content to all your selected files.
