Hello MP3Tag community
I'm running for a difficulty trying to source tags from Discogs with one specific release.
As shown in screendump below the link to the Discogs release creates TEMP_TITLES (instead of TITLES)
Consequently the titles are not imported to MP3Tag..
I checked the Discogs Release, (https://www.discogs.com/release/30824949-Béla-Bartók-The-Hungarian-Soul) updated it myself adding some additional info and saved it. But this does not seem to have any effect.
Any idea how to fix this ?
Thanks for your insight
Did you check the extended tags dialogue Alt-T for a field called TEMP_TITLES?
There is an issue with the source data on Discogs, which prevents this release from being parsed and imported correctly by Mp3tag.
When you look at this part of the tracklist, the two entries after 12-6 are missing the subtrack position. I don't know if this is a mere oversight that can be corrected or if it actually makes sense when inspecting the original release medium.
String Quartet No. 5 in B-Flat Major, SZ. 102
12-4 I. Allegro
12-5 II. Adagio Molto
12-6 III. Scherzo. Alla Bulgarese - Trio
12- IV. Andante
12- V. Finale. Allegro Vivace - Presto
String Quartet No. 6 in D Major, SZ. 114
12-7 I. Mesto - Vivace
12-8 II. Mesto - Marcia
12-9 III. Mesto - Burletta. Moderato
12-10 IV. Mesto
Thanks @Florian and @ohrenkino
I'll try and fix the 12-6 entries in the Discogs Release.
And I could not activate the Alt-T function (is it a Mac Shortcut or Windows one ? )
Alt-T = Extended tags in Windows
⌘ T = Extended Tags on a Mac
Fixed 12- entries and a couple wrong ones...
Still have the problem but I will keep on looking for errors & typos in the Discogs Release... and come back here I still have problem after fixing them
When looking at the release page on Discogs, it still shows the incomplete positions. Maybe the change needs to be reviewed by a moderator and needs some time to propagate.
It works now ... I guess some time was necessary to sync with the server.
Thanks for your help.
