Tagging from discogs consistently failing error 12002

Please advise.

Please use the forum search function and look for "12002" - and see which of the suggestions works for you.
If none works, please tell us what you have tried so far.
You can start e.g. here:

now I'm getting this.

Why would you bother having a support forum if you don't provide support? Advising people to search elsewhere is the worst method of support. As someone that professionally provides support, I find these types of responses highly offensive!

If you're going to provide support, do it right.

I asked you to search in this forum and not elsewhere and also for a specific keyword which would have supplied you with a long list of similar topics and corresponding suggestions. So why should I repeat something that has been described already in other threads and probably better than I can.

This is a community support forum first and foremost. It is not out of the ordinary to point out that a search of the forum for something as specific as that error code would be a good starting point since it would have immediately led you to that prior thread.

It is worth noting that this is a very similar problem and solution that was previously suggested to you back in March, so this kind of response shouldn't come as a surprise.

This was not the same cause.

Also, this is still not an acceptable method of providing support. Even outside of my job, in life, in forums, I never use a "go search for it" type of response, and I find resorting to those types of responses as rude and lazy.

The problem seems to have resolved itself. After multiple tries I found the discogs site was acting funny as well, perhaps there was a problem on that end. The fact that I was able to use discogs well enough to get a code to paste in, made it seem that wasn't the case immediately. I'm still not sure exactly what happened.

I find it not acceptable to use the search function first but let others do the work for me.
If you

you should be used to utilize knowledge bases like this forum with the help of the search function.

The fact of the matter is you are getting free support for software that was provided to use at no charge (you are a Windows user). And the general consensus here has aways been to search first, then ask if the answer is not already available. That is pretty much the purpose of any community support.

Certainly it is neither rude nor lazy to ask for anyone to make a quick search for existing answers. It is actually the other way around, expecting that somebody else should take time to post repeated answers to an existing solution, simply because you don't wish to take a look first. Whether or not you agree is irrelevant.
