Tags from Windows Media Player

Hello,

I'm ripping my CDs into FLAC format with FOOBAR.
I'm using Mp3Tag to find TAG informations (freedb).
But sometime, freedb doesnt find the information while the Windows Media Pllayer finds them :angry: !

Why the media player can find theese information and mp3tag does not ?

How can I copy the media player tab to my FLAC files ?

The reason why mp3tag performs in this or the other way very often depends on the proficiency with which the user applies the tool.

So: if WMP finds information but freedb does not then it might be a good idea to use a different source for information.
You might want to try discogs or Amazon or some other web-source. You find a fair number of user-supplied scripts in this area of the forum:
