Mp3tag v2.77 released

I've just released Mp3tag v2.77!

The last release (see announcement) added some exciting new features, but also introduced some issues that affected some of you.

I've been working on resolving those issues over the past week and was in contact with some highly responsive people who tested internal versions during the course of this bug chase.

Funnily, I've also attended a conference this week (JAX in Mainz, next to the beautiful Rhine river), where we gave a talk on possibilities for reducing the feedback loop in case of issues with a software system. So I had some simultaneous hands-on experience on this topic during the week

Not sure if the issues you were referring to include this, but anyway:

I was running mp3tag on my previous w7 machine no problems, but after migrating to a windows10 machine, the tags to not appear in any of my mp3 files in the editor. I thought they might not have copied over with the directory (new laptop also), but then I tried ftping them from their repository, and the tags still do not display.

CHeck which tag versions you read and which are present in the files.
See File>Options>Tags>Mpeg for that. It could for instance be that you have written APE tags but you do not read them any more.
