Text Size Too Small on Large Monitors!

Any way we can get a way to scale the text. This app is amazing but on a 4k monitor its almost impossible to see anything lol

This observation should be relevant for all applications that use the system font.
AFAIK it is possible to modify the size of the system font which is then adopted by MP3tag.

I suspect that people are buying these even when they don't benefit much at all from resolution higher than the HD standard (1920 x 1080). Just because 4K is heavily promoted doesn't mean that it is suitable for everyday use by most people.

I don't have a single application that would benefit in the slightest from 4K.

So I would think carefully before abandoning the popular and durable HD standard, which works so well with so many applications. Sometimes "progress" can be more trouble than it is worth....

Currently, MP3tag does not have a built-in feature specifically for scaling text within the application interface. However, you might try adjusting your system's display scaling settings to see if that helps. Here's how you can do it in Windows:

  1. Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select "Display settings" from the context menu.
  2. In the Display settings window, under the "Scale and layout" section, adjust the slider to increase the size of text, apps, and other items on your screen.
  3. After making adjustments, click "Apply" to see the changes.

Keep in mind that scaling adjustments made at the system level will affect all applications, not just MP3tag. If you find the text size too large in other applications after scaling, you may need to adjust it back or find a compromise that works for you.

Alternatively, you can try lowering the resolution of your monitor temporarily while using MP3tag. This might make the text appear larger and more readable without affecting other applications or system settings. However, remember to revert to your preferred resolution afterward for optimal display quality.

Win + (press both keys at once) I just discovered this a month or two ago by accident and I've been doing back flips ever since. It's an amazing relief. I used to have to pull myself up close to the screen to see things like VLC playlists and things like mp3tag. It's the best thing ever. Win + that's the 2nd key from the left bottom and 2nd key from the top right on my usual keyboard.

Problem with 4k is watching 360 pixel movies in it full screen. That's what, 10 pixels in 1 it's like Atari 2600 graphics. And forget about those 240 movies on Youtube.

I actually have the opposite problem. Everything is a bit big on my 4K 38" monitor. I would love to condense everything, but I can see how it would be hard to implement.
However, if we could get a field half the size of tiny, which would still populate 4-5 characters in my screen, it would solve a lot for me. I am still really grateful Florian gave us so many field sizes a year or so ago, but I wish he would have taken it one step further. Currently I have at least 4 rows in my tag panels that have a space at the end that would hold that size of field and there are so many fields I could reduce the size of if a "midget" or "Half-tiny" field was created.
