The function $utf8 don't seems to work in mp3tag 3.32

A “Review” gices the following output

"abc-åäöåäö-def"

--->

"123 $utf8(abc-åäöåäö-def) 456"

ANy idea why ?

Could you explain what that function is supposed to do and supply a link to the corresponding description?

The funktion is (according to Google) a function to convert a tag to UTF-88 like the one $ansi() that converts to CP1252. / Digiloo

TBH: there is no such function called $utf8 in MP3tag.

Thank you. Yes it seems to from time to time make up function instead of checking th e documentation. But anyway have to use IDv3.1 (that is the tags is saved in ansi). But need to see to that they are saved in UTF-8 (Don’r ask why). ANy idea how? Regards
