The song title does not appear in Title column

When I put my cursor on a song on the right side, the Title Column is empty. It does not show the song title. Can someone help please? Thank you kindly.

Is the title field in the tag panel filled, and have you saved an entry?

Do you have any APE tags in this file? You can see this in the expanded tag view (ALT+T). Please post a screenshot of this expanded tag view here.

Please note that the filename is not the title. It is only the filename.
If you want to see the data from the filename in the metadata tag field TITLE, you have to import it. See also:

I dragged some tracks in mp3tag right panel. How do I copy File Names to Title on the left panel without retyping? Thank you for your help. I am new to mp3tag. Regards.
