Track numbers with two digits

I have MP3Tag 1.9.2, and I don't know how to make the track numbers have two digits.

I have tried the value $num(%track%,2), but either I am writing it in the wrong place or something is not working correctly.

I have read about some similar problems in this community, but I can't get it to work properly.

What audio format are these files that are you trying to change? Some like m4a use an integer value for track numbers and as such do not permit saving a leading zero value.

I’ve already got it. They were M4A and MP3 files. I was entering the command in the wrong place.
