A quick test shows:
Traktor Pro v3.10 writes the catalog number only in a non-readable format into a mp3 file.
Traktor Pro v3.10 writes the catalog number as a standard tag CATALOGNUMBER in a m4a file:
Then I repeated my test from here and it is still valid vor Traktor Pro v3.10:
Traktor writes the catalog number only in a proprietary (not public known) format into mp3 files:
There is nothing you can do other then ask Native Instruments, why they use that prorietary format instead of the widely support standard tags.
