Trimming silences from MP3s

Apologies if off topic please feel free to delete if you feel it's not appropriate.
I have about 28,000 mp3s and I'm looking for recommendations if somebody has used a program that can automatically batch trim silences beginning and end?

Have a look at mp3DirectCut. One of it's features is trimming silence.

Thanks. I had a look and it can trim x seconds from the beginning and end but I wanted something more configurable. I wanted the silences at the beginning to be no more than 1 second and don't think mp3directcut can do that.
