Unable to connect to Musicbrainz: error 12030

Hi all,

I am unable to connect to musicbrainz with v2.99a, but I am able to connect to Discogs.

If I click through Tag Sources|Cover Art|Discogs I get search results, so mp3tag has an internet connection.

If I click through Tag Sources|Cover Art|MusicBrainz I always get the following popup:

Error connecting to server: musicnrainz.org

12030: WinHttpReceiveResponse: 12030: The
connection with the server was terminated abnormally.

The Options|Network|Timeout set to 15. The error pop-up happens immediately.
However, I am able to go to the MusicBrainz web site with my Chrome browser an perform searches.

Any ideas on how to diagnose what is going on?

The connection with the server has been reset or terminated, or an incompatible SSL protocol was encountered. For example, WinHTTP version 5.1 does not support SSL2 unless the client specifically enables it."
