Unattended install?

Are there any switches for the installer? I'd like to do a minimal install to a custom directory with switches or an ini file for teh installer. Is this possible?

Hello beaker!

You can do a silent install using this command line

mp3tagv###setup.exe /S /D=C:\Progra~1\Mp3tag

You can also choose which optional components should be installed via a file Mp3tagSetup.ini. Store this file in the same directory as the installer. This file has the following keys:

[shortcuts]
startmenu=1
desktop=1
explorer=1
quicklaunch=1

[addons]
quickpick=1

[language]
language=langid

All keys are optional and langid is 1033 for English language and 1031 for German language.

Florian, this is great news! Thank you for the prompt reply around the holidays. I'm just now catching up on my forums :wink:

When I do an install, I get a prompt saying the WMP library/runtimes aren't available and would I like them installed. I always say no because I don't use WMA files. What would the unattended install do?

Thanks again,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hello beaker!

It won't ask you and won't install the WMP runtimes on an unattended install.

All the best for the new year :sorcerer:

Hello,

I know it is more than 11 year old topic but I hope someone read and reply this, actually I used this in SCCM which works. I was wondering if it is possible to do a silent uninstall?
