Unexpected: Dragging in second cover replaces first one

Until recently I would pull all songs of an album into MP3Tag, select them all and the drag the cover art files into the image location. First one: title cover, second one: back cover. Then save the whole thing.
After update to v3.30 here is what I see:

  1. drag in title cover - displays OK
  2. drag in back cover - replaces! the title cover
Same thing also happens when I do a save after step 1.
I only realized this when all my lately added albums only had back-covers :frowning:

Workaround: Adding multiple covers persistently only works if I add them by means of the "add cover" context menu (CTRL+ALT+A). Dragging works OK for the first cover (title), but the second one has to be added with CTRL+ALT+A lest it will replace the first one.

Looks like a bug to me ...

Please see the notes of changes that come with the

Press Ctrl if you want to add pictures - or use the context menu and "Add cover ..."

That is correct. You can not add multiple selected cover picture files using drag & drop. Also not if you press Ctrl during drag & drop in Mp3tag v3.30.
I'm not sure if this was possible in Mp3tag versions prior to v3.30.

(I have just tested v3.29 and found the same behaviour. Only 1 cover at once will be accepted by drag & drop).

I see - in fact I did read this note, but somehow couldn't make the connection to my use case. It sounded like prior it was possible "not directly via drag and drop" (which in fact I think it was), so I missed the point wit the CTRL key. Verified that with CTRL pressed I can add a second cover with drag and drop, like before.
THANKS!

I didn't expect to add several files at once with drag and drop. This wouldn't give me control over which one is the title anyway. (Unless there was a dedicated UI for rearranging the order of covers, which sometimes indeed would be beneficial).
