Unexpected SYNTAX ERROR with apostrophe

Actions > Format Value > (add text to TITLE) > %title% (text, e.g. Live At Jane's House)

If the (text) contains a single apostrophe, you get a [SYNTAX ERROR]. If two apostrophes, they are removed.

Same behavior in Convert: Tag - Tag.

What is the correct way to do this? Thanks.

replace a single apostrophe with 2:
jane
