I have a large number of files with the title (and filename) formatted like the following:
Episode 10 - Blah blah blah
How can I update the track field to reflect the number found in the title? Is this track field picked up during an import to iTunes?
Use the converter Filename - tag and enter the following:
Episode %track% - %dummy%
This will update the field track.
What you have to do with iTunes is something completely different.
As iTunes is very reluctant to update data, it would be easiest to delete the entries from iTunes and add the folders again.
