Using an external file

Hello,
freedb, discogs and musicbrainz are available to retrieve cover art and data for completing tags.
Would it also be possible to use an external (.txt) file to retrieve data? I've many text files with a tracklist in it. This would help me to add many track no, artists and titles at once.
Please,advise.
