Using Tag - Tag With Placeholders

Hi,

I have a number of files where the title tag is in the format "Artist / Title" (e.g. Disturbed / Stupefy"). I want to use the information in this field to populate the ARTIST and TITLE fields correctly.

I assumed I'd need to use the Tag - Tag option but am not sure how to do this.

I've read this post which seems to suggest using %1 / %2 would work but putting %1 in the Format string box results in a "SYNTAX ERROR IN FORMATTING STRING" error.

All suggestions gratefully received!

Create an action of the type "Guess values" (or synonym "Import tag fields") for TITLE
Enter as format string:
%artist% / %title%

I think you cannot split a field with the converter tag-tag ...
